Behind the Design
Collaborating with Loveman Media on this project, it became clear to us that the great personality of Cook Associates needed to shine through. Everything from the identity on up needed to be re-designed and re-thought. The colors were improved from a rather bold magenta and black to a traditional split complimentary theme. Since Cook is divided into Executive Search and M&A Advisory segments, the split complimentary theme allows for both segments to share in a main corporate color while having specific secondary colors that unify when used together. On the web site, photography and quotes of the consultants help present their unique personality. A three column grid creates internal structure for the pages yet has enough flexibility for the site to grow.
