Opening Film Titles

Closing Trailer Titles

The Rapture is an incredibly ambitious feature film shot entirely in HD in Cleveland, OH by Director/Producer Johnny Wu. Learn more at rapturethemovie.com.

Behind the Design
Synthoughtic was contracted to produce various pieces for the film as well as it's marketing. We worked on the logotype, film posters, press cards, the trailer and the opening titles.

The titles for The Rapture move in and out of the opening shots of cells and organisms. After twisting and turning through these visuals, they eventually find their way to a lab's computer monitor and to the opening scene. The movement is very luid and integrated and works with the audio to set the mood of the opening scene and film.
